Let’s Buy Happiness – ‘Six Wolves’

Despite being a band for little more than a year Let’s Buy Happiness have an incredibly tight sound. Hailing from Newcastle this five piece are canny good, putting together poppy rock music – all indie guitars and delays – accompanied by lead singer Sarah Hall’s delicately quirky vocals.

This type of charming indie is the perfect anecdote to these dark winter days, offsetting beautiful melodies with melancholy harmonies and experimental sound patterns.  ‘Six Wolves’ combines those soaring indie guitars with modern inflections and pierced by the etheral vocals of Miss Hall. The video is a certain kind of strange, but brilliant at the same time – have a peek below.
Let’s Buy Happiness have played Glasto, supported the likes of Temper Trap and performed a live set on BBC Introducing – so something tells me they’re going to do pretty well for a band formed not much more than 12months ago up in the north east of England!
